Individually, the pieces of the fulfillment system may not seem to add a great benefit to improving your fulfillment process. We are all here because business is moving faster than ever before. The supply chain we all feed and are feed from is pushing costs up the chain. If not correctly positioned with state of the art communication and data handling tools, the future is not looking as bright as it could. Now smaller and smaller accounts want UCC128 Barcodes, ASN’s and order in “replace the sale” quantities. The ease of “full truckload” of warehouse pallet quantities has been replaced with the supplier now doing the warehouse and order picking for the customer. Delivering on demand, and reducing the cost of receiving for the customer has become paramount. If you do not supply it their way, your customers loyalty fades quickly when someone else can. This presentation covers an overview of how to get your customer orders positioned to retain their business, get new orders, and make it more profitable for your company and you.
